Politica e teoria del diritto nella tradizione di ricerca Pre-socratica; cosmicità e cosmeticità di una “Praktischen Philosophie”
My contribution will be to demonstrate the inexcusable error of reconstruction made by those who, in modern doctrinal material and manuals, still evaluate the core theories about the scientific traditions of the pre-Socratic philosophers on the basis of the hermeneutic canons of nature (Aristotle) or of being (Plato), belittling the effect and value of the moral and social sphere in their theories of the cosmos. Moreover, I will show how – in the light of the new Jaeger/Mondolfo/Capizzi doctrine – only moral and social institutions are to be considered a normative model of the cosmos, in terms of eliminating the stressful nature of mysteries and concealing civic reality. The article’s objective of modernization advocates a mixed and multicultural approach, leading towards a historical reconstruction moderated by the need for semiotic restructuring, where textual and contextual hermeneutics can fuse into a harmonious text/context combination, and are suitable for deciphering our author’s words regarding concepts that are relevant to modern time such as law, order and punishment.
