Crespo, Mariano

Mariano Crespo (Toledo, Spain, 1966) studied Philosophy at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he obtained 1995 his PhD. From this year until 2004 he was Professor at the International Academy of Philosophy in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Since 2005 he is Associate Professor at the Philosophy Department of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His main field of research has been Phenomenology and specially Phenomenological Ethics. He is the author of the book Das Verzeihen. Eine philosophische Untersuchung (2004) and of numerous papers on different philosophical topics. He is also the editor of Menschenwürde: Metaphysik und Ethik (1998) and of the fourth edition of A. Pfänder's Logik de Alexander Pfänder (2000).
