Deus e música em santo Agostinho: contrapontos e variações
This present work intends to elaborate some reflections concerning the Augustine’s conceptions about music and God in his dialogue De Musica. The basis of these reflections was formulated with the contributions of the philosophers Plato and Plotinus and reinterpreted by Davenson. The tireless search and knowledge about the Supreme God carried Augustine out to elaborations with theoretical consistence and with perceptions of subtleness not revealed by other authors until that time.
